How Ottava handles cookies and tracking
Version: v1.0 · Effective: 15 February 2025
Website: ottavaholdings.com · Company number: SC726602
Ottava Holdings Ltd keeps this site quiet, simple, and respectful of visitors. We do not run advertising technology or behavioural tracking. This page explains our current cookie posture and what would happen if that changes.
1. Do we use cookies?
By default, no non-essential cookies. The site is static (HTML/CSS/images) and does not include analytics or marketing scripts.
Essential (strictly necessary)
Our hosting/CDN stack (e.g., Amazon S3 or CloudFront) may use short-lived, strictly necessary cookies to deliver pages securely and reliably (for example, session affinity or edge protection). These are not used by Ottava to track or identify visitors and typically expire automatically. If our current deployment does not require these features, no cookies are set.
2. Cookies we do not use
- No analytics or measurement cookies.
- No advertising, remarketing, or social media pixels.
- No third-party tracking cookies.
If we ever add optional analytics or similar features, we will update this policy and present a consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
3. Local storage and similar technologies
We do not use local storage, session storage, fingerprinting, or similar technologies. Any diagnostic logging occurs on the server side (standard access logs) and is described in our Privacy Notice.
4. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies via your browser settings. Because Ottava relies only on strictly necessary cookies (if any), blocking them may affect basic delivery such as load-balanced routing. It will not enable tracking—there is none.
5. Contact & updates
Questions about this Cookies Policy can be sent to hello@ottavaholdings.com. We review this page whenever our website stack changes and will update the version and effective date accordingly. See also the Privacy Notice for details on server logs and email correspondence.
